Shankara Merit Scholarship

Shankara Merit Scholarship - ₹50,000 Support for 20 Girls The Shankara Merit Scholarship is designed to support girl students who have taken admission in undergraduate programs such as Engineering, Biotechnology, MBBS, and Nursing. It is meant for those who are building their careers in these fields and have demonstrated strong academic performance. A total of 20 girls will be selected every year from colleges across India, based on their merit, academic excellence and those from low-income families. Students of Lotus Petal Foundation can apply for the following internal scholarships: R.S. Shetty Scholarship of Rs. 1.5 Lakh for all round excellence. The scholarship is awarded each year to 1 boy and 2 girls of Pratishthan Learning Center who display distinction in academic performance, leadership skills, attendance and have overcome challenging situations at home. The scholarship is utilised towards the educational expense of the recipient student studying in the Pratishthan Learning Center. Sumit Dass Scholarship for All Round Excellence The scholarship is awarded each year to 2 students from Vidyananda School and 2 students from Pratishthan Learning Center for displaying 3 key qualities- Empathy, Social Responsibility and Innovation. Jejurikar Scholarship The scholarship is awarded each year to 35 students of Vidyananda School for overall excellence. Dr. Arvind Mehrotra Scholarship The scholarship was started in the year 2022 by Mrs. Madhu Mehrotra in memory of her husband, Dr. Arvind Mehrotra. It is awarded each year to 1 deserving student from less privileged background for pursuing MBBS. Anita Sahay Scholarship Anita Sahay Scholarship The scholarship is being instituted in 2024 in memory of Anita Sahay by her family. It is going to support 1 girl and 1 boy pursuing a course under the Jeevika Skill Development Program Tejaswi - RK Gupta Memorial Scholarship Tejaswi - RK Gupta Memorial Scholarship The RK Gupta Memorial Scholarship has been started by the family of Mr Rajendra Kumar Gupta, to honor his commitment to education. Growing up in a small village of Western UP, Mr RK Gupta wanted to provide a better life for his family. Recognizing the transformative power of education in his life he sought to ensure that his children had access to the best quality education and resources to achieve their dreams and feel empowered. His hard work, dedication and steadfast commitment to education will forever be remembered through the enduring legacy of this scholarship.
