The Virtusa Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2024-25, an initiative by the Virtusa Foundation, provides financial assistance to high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds who are pursuing higher education. This program aligns with SDG4 and SDG5, emphasising affordable quality education and gender equality. Under this scholarship, students enrolled in their 1st or 2nd year of B. Tech/BE programs PAN India or from the 36 colleges, which are part of the Centre of Excellence will receive financial assistance of INR 50,000 to cover their academic expenses. VIRTUSA ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP 24-25 (PAN INDIA) Eligibility Deadline :31-Jan-2025 Open to students in their 1st or 2nd year of B. Tech/BE courses across India. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 70% marks in their 12th grade. The applicant’s annual family income from all sources should be below INR 6,00,000. Children of employees of Virtusa and Buddy4Study are not eligible to participate. Benefits INR 50,000 for 1 year NOTE: This financial aid can be utilised only for various academic-related expenses, including exam fees, hostel fees, tuition fees, books, stationery, travel, data plans, laptop or tablet, food, and lodging. Documents Recent passport-sized photograph School/ Course/ Institution admission proof (Admission Letter/ Institution ID Card, etc.) Previous class/semester mark sheets Payments receipts of educational expenses (tuition fees, hostel fees, books, mess fees, etc.) along with fee structure for the academic year) A bonafide letter from the college stating the total fees/expenses incurred by the applicant in an academic year/ annual cycle Proof of family income (ITR, salary slips, income certificate issued by concerned Government authority, etc.) Proof of identity (PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.) Disability certificate issued by a concerned government authority (if applicable) Death certificate of parent(s) (if applicable) Bank Passbook Ration card How can you apply?
