Bharathi Cement Corporation Private Limited (BCCPL) is a producer of Superior Quality Cement has set new standards in the cement business. It is a joint venture of Vicat Group, France (pioneers in cement) in India. The ownership of the company was changed and the company was renamed later as Bharathi Cement Corporation Limited. Vicat SA, France required a majority stake in the company. Later, the name of the company was changed to Bharathi Cement Corporation Private Limited. The Bharathi Cement Scholarship is the project of collaboration with Vidyasaarathi portal for providing financial assistance to young students from poor economic background for continuation of their education. This scholarship would not be applicable for Bharathi Cement employees and their children.
